My Own Fitness test !!!!
For my fitness test you need to have a hockey stick, a ball, and an area to set up your course (like a hockey field) and a stopwatch. For my fitness test you need to start at a cone (start) as shown on the diagram, hit the start button on the stopwatch. Then dribble the ball 25 meters (should be marked with a cone) to where next cone is. Then there should be five cones spread out in a line, weave between all the cones, run around a cone and pass the ball back to the start line. Once you passed the ball you will need to follow your pass all the way to the orange cone. When you reach the orange cone turn left and run around a big area like the hockey field. Once you do that you will find that you have reached the starting cone again, as soon as you reach the start cone stop the time on the stopwatch. Check the time on the stopwatch, that is your personal time record for this exercise. Don't expect your first go to be amazing because you will defiantly keep on getting better the more you practise and do this exercise. This exercise is good because you can do it in any big area and not have to worry about when and where you can do this exercise. As well as it being quick so you can do it in training, it is good for you and helpful. This skill relates and is good for hockey because it helps with some of your skills like dribbling, weaving (forehand and back hand) and passing. It also helps with your running and Cardiovascular Endurance. This exercise measures your Cardiovascular Endurance when you run around the field/ court, it also measures your agility and how fast you can get through the exercise .
